Village Income Tax Payments
For 2016 the Village of Brewster has a one per cent (1%) income tax that is levied on the gross pay of anyone working in Brewster. If you reside in Brewster and work outside of Brewster, the Village grants a 100% credit for the income tax that is paid to any municipality in which you are employed, up to the amount owed to Brewster.
The Village Income Tax Administrator is Steve Hartman. He can address your questions or concerns, and provide assistance in the completion of your Brewster Municipal Income Tax form. During the months of February, March, and April he maintains Office hours in Brewster Village Hall Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 am until Noon.
In November of 2015 through Municipal legislation 46-2015 Brewster Village Council modified the Brewster Municipal Income Tax in accordance with Ohio HB5. A copy of these new income tax guidelines that will be effective on January 1, 2016 can be accessed via the link at the bottom of this page.

The deadline to submit the Individual Income Tax Form is on April 17th, 2017. A penalty of 2% interest per month on the total owed is levied for failure to pay by the deadline with a $25 min charged
