Street Committee minutes

Chairman Dave Godwin - absent

Attendance – Mayor Schwab, Dale Fox, Paul Mackey, Tom Hilliard, Chuck Hawk, Steve Tharp

Also in attendance – Jay Huff, Mark Murdocco, Jay Bucher

 

Meeting called to order at 6:00pm by Tom Hilliard.

 

The meeting opened with street levy discussion. Mr. Tharp commented there should be a committee formed. The committee could be made up of council, business owners and residents. Issues to be discussed could be signs, message letters, surveys, town meetings and mailings with facts.

 

Mr. Hilliard made suggestions regarding cuts that could be made. Discussion followed concerning the time to put the levy on the ballot. The consensus is November, 2015.

 

Resident Huff discussed the feelings of the residents toward the street levy. Councilman Hilliard asked if he would be willing to be one of the residents on the committee.

 

Meeting adjourned at 6:40pm.
