Parks and Grounds 12/1/14

All members of council and the mayor, clerk and VA in attendance.

Meeting was called to order at 6pm to discuss Fire Department having beer in the park for the Festival/October Fest. Mackey wants to know how the village feels about alcohol in the park he would like a unified stand. There were claims of 2 issues in the past. Mackey said he is not comfortable with liability of accident or lawsuit. Hawk said the insurance provider may not be in our policy. Godwin stated that he believed the FD had a 2 million dollar policy. Tharp discussed the Provider. Hawk wants to know if the FD is on the coat tails of the Village and we need to protect the village money. Hillard said he would like for it to go on Moose property and let them get a percentage of the profit. Mayor said going to need a policy in please for the future. Tharp said involve Captain Colucy in setting up guide lines. Godwin the ordinance should have all issues spelled out including other individuals and organizations. Godwin stated that he will call another meeting to discuss the policy. Meeting adjourned at 6:25
