August 4, 2014 - Parks/Grounds/Buildings Committee meeting

Parks, Ground and Building 8/4/14

 

In attendance Godwin, Mackey, Fox Tharp, Mayor, Clerk and VA.

 

  1. Soccer Shed - it was put on hold until we find out from soccer what they wanted and needed.
  2. Playground Equipment - we are looking at replacing old equipment and replacing others to become complaint with Consumer Products Safety Commission. The Committee is looking to label equipment age appropriate.  Old equipment should be removed this winter. All council needs to get down and look at the park equipment before we meet again.

 

  1. Power to front pavilion - VA is going to get an estimate for the Committee.

 

  1. Drinking Fountains need fixed or replaced. Planning for next year.

 

  1. Volleyball pit - Discussed ideas.
