March 14, 2016 - Council of the Whole

The first part of the meeting was to discuss a personnel realignment memo that VA Pauley had circulated before he resigned.  The purpose of the realignment was to insure the Village had trained personnel in each department in case of resignations or retirements.  Currently the Village has two employees taking courses to get state licenses for their Water Class I certification.  Several additional positions were discussed including Assistant Superintendents should a superintendent choose to retire, training could begin before their departure.  Other cross training was discussed.

 

The second part of the meeting was to discuss RCAP and the rate studies the Village is having done.  The Mayor suggested a meeting with Sherri Loos of RCAP to get some items clarified.
