COUNCIL OF THE WHOLE MINUTES

BREWSTER VILLAGE COUNCIL

October 26, 2015

6:30 P.M.

MEMBERS PRESENT:

Dale Fox, Council Member Dave Godwin, Council Member

Chuck Hawk, Council Member Tom Hilliard, Council Member

Paul Mackey, Council Member Steve Tharp, Jr., Council Member

VILLAGE OFFICIALS PRESENT:

K. Kris King, Clerk-Treasurer

Rob Pauley, Village Administrator

GUEST:

John Barkan, HR Consultant

Council Member Mackey opened the meeting.

The meeting was held to discuss the Police Department wages.

John Barkan, HR Representative, began the meeting by presenting a spreadsheet display that gave an example of a matrix that could be used as a template for a future ordinance that would simplify the employee wages ordinance that is now in place.

A constructive discussion followed Mr. Barkan's presentation and progress was made towards goal of moving the Village forward with regards to simplifying our administrative procedures.

Council appears to be moving in all the right directions in this process and will continue to clarify our goals as future meetings are held.

The meeting adjourned at 8:12 PM.
