COUNCIL OF THE WHOLE MINUTES

BREWSTER VILLAGE COUNCIL

November 2, 2015

Council Member Godwin opened the meeting.

The meeting was held to discuss the request from Mount Eaton for the purchase of bulk water.

Jack Jones from Poggemeyer Design Group made a presentation explaining the status of the Village Water Plant as it pertains to the request from the Village of Mount Eaton for the purchase of bulk water for it's Village.

Mr. Jones stated that the Village Water Plant was capable of supplying Mount Eaton with adequate supply of treated water with some modifications to the Brewster Water Plant as it is today.

The discussion then turned to the options that Brewster needs to consider regarding the future of our water plant and the direction that the Village of Brewster needs to take to maintain a healthy utility for the years ahead.

Mr. Jones discussed the negotiation process that needs to take place between the two Villages that will help make this project a win/win for all parties involved.

The meeting adjourned at 6:58 pm.
