Usage Fee per 1000 gallons of water used $ 3.03

A Service Charge per account of $ 4.43 (This funds Sewer Replacement projects)

A Capital Charge per account of. $ 24.45 (This funds the Sewer Debt for infrastructure)

Minimum Monthly Charge per account in 2019 = $ 31.91

We may add that Courtney and Associates have completed an analysis of the Village sewer rates and charges with the intent to insure that needed revenue is provided for the efficient operation of the Village sewer system. Their analysis will be presented to Brewster Council on September 3, 2019

WATER RATES

Per Account

Usage Rate, Capital Charge, & Monthly Minimum

A. It is required that every customer’s water connection be metered, and that the components of each Village Water customer’s account will be based on that metering. The consumption component of the monthly Billing for those metered accounts in 2019 shall be shall be as follows:

First 2000 Gals $ 3.75 per 1000 gallons or part thereof

2001 to 30,000 Gals $ 2.80 per 1000 gallons or part thereof

Above 30,000 Gals $ 1.97 per 1000 gallons or part thereof

In 2019 a Capital Charge of $ 23.40 per month for each account shall be levied.

The monthly Minimum for each account including the Capital Charge and the fee for 1000 gallons of usage shall be $ 27.15

The above Rates and Charges are scheduled to increase by 2.75% on January 1st of each year
