Council of the Whole- Insurance

All present: Bichsel, Godwin, Hilliard, Huff, Tharp

The Insurance committee chose to stay with Ohio Insurance Services. We discussed the difference between the two policies that the committee has narrowed it down to over the last few meetings.

Chairman Tharp stated he met with the employees to gauge their thoughts on the two policies. They stated they wanted to stay with Aultcare and move to one card.

Councilman Hilliard had some concerns and Councilman Huff addressed those.

Chairman Tharp said his recommendation would be the Aultra 5000 A plan. Councilman Godwin agreed. Tharp stated that Brian Savage of Ohio Insurance Services would be willing to meet with the employees to help transition them to the policy.

Councilwoman Bichsel stated she was happy with it.

Tharp asked the committee if they were ok with the renewal for the eye-dental and life insurance. All agreed. All were happy with the Aultra 5000A plan if the price holds.
