Economic Development

All Committee Members were present: Bichsel, Hartman, Schwab, Tharp

Council present: Hilliard, Huff, Duff and Godwin

Tharp opened the meeting with a recap of the previous meeting and turned it over to EDDS.

Charley Bowman began his presentation and presented 9 proposals to council. The proposals were in council’s possession since the first meeting.

EDDS engaged council, entertained questions.

The committee and council were allowed to engage in the free flow discussion in which concerns regarding the proposals were concerned.

Tharp, Mayor Schwab and the VA supported EDDS helping the village. Bichsel supported the first two proposals. She stated they need to convince her that this will work.

The committee compromised and was recommended to council for a Economic Development Plan be created by EDDS for the Village and that council have an Economic Development Retreat with EDDS.

The committee thanks EDDS for their presentation and the meeting adjourned at 6:59pm.
